Cassette tapes have always been nostalgic to me. Mix tapes especially carry a certain amount of nostalgic weight. They can trigger memories of the people who gave them to you. My mind starts to wonder to memories of what I was doing the last time I heard that song. This installation consists of mix tapes found at thrift stores that have been discarded by their original owners. They are relics of memories and a past that isn't mine.
